About Farm School
Educating the next generation
Farm School is a series of lessons taught on the farm once per month by owner and National Board Certified Teacher, Ahna Frye. After teaching in public school for a decade, it became very apparent how far removed our society has become from our food sources. The idea for Farm School was created many years ago, but not put into action until “retiring” from the school system in 2023.
Each lesson consists of a themed book reading, real life farm information, and up close interaction with one of our farm animals! Lessons are catered to each age group in complexity and time allotment. Due to increased demand, sessions for teenagers and adults will be available beginning in 2025!

- How often do you host Farm School?
Farm School is held on the farm two semesters per year. It is one session per month for four months. Spring semester is from February to May and fall semester is from September to December.
- Do you cover the same lessons each semester?
No! Each semester has a different set of lessons centered around the season and what’s happening on the farm. Some lessons may be repeated depending on popularity.
- What does Farm School cost?
Farm School pricing varies from $55-$85 per semester, depending on which class you select at registration. Fees are paid upfront before the semester begins.
- When and how can I register?
Registration typically opens the month before the semester starts and closes the week before the first session. Spots are first come first serve and fill quickly. Purchasing a “ticket” through our online store secures your family’s spot, an invoice for additional children will be sent closer to the start of school.
- What ages can attend?
We have sessions for multiple age groups from toddler (ages 3 & 4) to elementary and even adults!
- I have a mature 3.5 year old, can they attend the elementary session?
You know your child best! We always leave session choice up to the parent.
- How do I pay for additional kids?
The week prior to our first session we will email a form for you to tell us more about the family members attending. Invoices for additional children will be emailed out at a reduced rate prior to our first session.
- Can my X month old attend with their sibling?
Yes! Siblings under 2 years old can attend for free.
- I can’t attend a session, do you offer a pro-rated amount?
Unfortunately we do not offer refunds or pro-rated amounts for missed sessions.
